Apple Announce UK iPad Pricing
Apple has today confirmed the pricing and release date of the iPad in the UK. From 28th of May you’ll be able to pick up Apple’s latest touch-driven gadget with prices ranging from £429, for the entry-level model, up to a hefty £699, for the top of the range model.
Apple says the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi models will sell for £429, £499 and £599 respectively. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi and 3G models will sell for £100 more — £529, £599 and £699 respectively.
These prices aren’t that much more expensive than the US either. In the States, the entry-level 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi is only $29 (£19) cheaper than in the UK. There’s even less of a price difference between the top-of-the-line 64GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G. which is approximately $19 (£13) cheaper in the US.
So if you were getting incey and considering a shopping trip to NYC to save a few squids on your iPad purchase, stop! It’ll be available in a Mac Store near you at the end of the month.
