The New Year is already underway, where it won’t be too long until the next set of flagship handsets are here – from the usual suspects.
With that in mind, we take a look at what is likely to arrive from those companies – based on recent leaks and speculation, starting with the first on the list.
The successor to the HTC One phone is believed to go under the codename of HTC M8.
This came from a tweet by @evleaks: “HTC M8 will be the first Sense 6.0 handset”.
A picture of the alleged device was outed, early November 2012 (seen above).
It may have also appeared in the AnTuTu benchmarking logs, recording the specs of a 5-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 screen.
That is with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8774AB chipset driving the mobile, with cores clocked at 2265.60MHz.
2GB of RAM appears to be onboard, with 16GB of internal storage.
Cameras come in the form of 4-megapixel and 2.1MP snappers: the same as the HTC One.
“Nokia has adduced evidence which suggests that the launch date is in the first quarter of 2014 and possibly as early as February 2014.”
Omio expects it to be unveiled around Mobile World Congress 2014; stay tuned for more.
