Sony Xperia SP specifications outed before MWC
Formerly Sony Ericsson, now Sony Mobile has had its yet-to-be-announced Xperia SP details leaked and ahead of the mobile phone’s announcement, according to a recent report.
It is said to have a 4.6-inch 720p display, and will be driven by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T chipset.
That contains an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU), with 8GB of internal storage on-board and access to a microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the rear is an 8-megapixel camera, backed up by the Sony Exmor RS sensor.
The Xperia SP will be slightly heavier than the Xperia ZL, coming it at 155g – compared to 151g. This is along with similar dimensions of 30.6 x 67.1 x 9.98mm.
It is noted to have an aluminium frame (all four sides), where the rear will be made of plastic – where its transparent bar is customisable (just like the Xperia S).
These details have been published by the Sony Mobile news website Xperia Blog, from a trusted source.
Stay tuned to Omio, as we are attending Mobile World Congress and will bring you all the news from the event.
