Nokia X6: Music Phone Pricing Revealed, November 27th Release Date

By Ernest Doku

Nokia X6

Nokia takes music handsets into high-end territory from this Friday, releasing the new Nokia X6 through Phones4U from the 27th of November.

An Orange exclusive, the Nokia X6 is certainly the most luxurious phone to play tunes on with a mammoth 32GB of storage (enough for over 7,000 songs), a gorgeous 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen and a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens camera.

It is also equipped with Nokia’s snazzy ‘Comes With Music’ service, enabling users to choose from a selection of over 6 million songs, and download them directly to the device for free.

Having said that, the X6 is a Symbian handset, meaning Spotify subscribers can also take advantage of the recently released music streaming application…

The Nokia X6 will be available for free on contracts from £35 per month, although trading in another N-series device will get you a tenner off the bill, making it a more attractive proposition for budding audiophiles. The X6 will also be available for order on the Nokia site, at a SIM-free price of £449.

Is it enough to knock Apple’s iconic device from the premium music phone top spot? We’ll see…
