iPhone Accessories Redux!
Due to quite literally no-one requesting the resurrection of our iPhone accessories section, it’s back for a one nite gala performance!
We’ve noticed that the iPhone accessory market is somewhat more narrow than say, the car accessory market. One can add all manner of spoilers, exhausts and bespoke items to “pimp” one’s vehicle in common parlance, but when it comes to the iPhone, you get one bit of real customisation. A case, which temporarily covers the exterior. That’s it.
Some look a little cheap, whilst others bring a splash of much needed colour to the multi-touch monolith. The only problem with the iPhone is that they all look pretty much the same, and these go some way towards fixing that.
Luxury sheath makers Agent 18 have brought their knowledge of hard wearing protective plastic to bear on the iPhone 3G‘s glossy back side with their new range. The cases come in three styles, with the highly popular ‘Flowervest’ design for giving either brown-on-blue or pink-on-pink flower action.
We may mock, but with other companies finding the market for replacement iPhone screens a popular one, the ‘Ecoshield’s moulded cover might be what you need to keep hold of the slippery handset. And with it being made from recycled bottles, you can do your bit to save the environment whilst enjoying the harmful beryllium and phthalates Apple’s finest phone is made from…
They are available on the Agent 18 site as well as through Apple’s own site at a cost of $29.95 or £24.95 depending on your nation of allegiance.
Apple? Overcharging the UK? Never. Exchange rates, fluctuation of the pound, sunspots, it all counts.
