Popular low-cost handset manufacturer Huawei’s purported Ascend P2 pictures have appeared online, from two different sources – with one of them noting its price.
The Ascend P2 first came to our attention at the end of January, when a press shot was outed by renowned twipster @evleaks.
The above image was published by Chinese tech news website GIZCHINA.com, who states that it could feature an eight-core processor.
It is reportedly going to ship with a 4.7-inch full HD 1080p screen and a 13-megapixel camera.
The title expects it will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress this month, with a cost of 3000 Yuan ($481, £306).
Digi.tech.qq.com (source of the images below) notes that the P2 will be one of the company’s main models this year, according to informed sources.
Also covered is that the Ascend P2 should not be much different to the Ascend D2, which was announced at Las Vegas’ CES – along with the Windows Phone 8 W1, due to arrive on O2 soon.
Omio is attending MWC 2013 this year, which starts in the 25th of February; stay tuned to our site and we’ll bring you all the news from the event.
