Huawei Ascend P2 leaked online

Popular low-cost handset manufacturer Huawei has seen its yet-to-be-announced full HD screen Ascend P2 reportedly outed, in a press shot of the mobile phone.

Omio - Huawei Ascend P2The Huawei Ascend P2 is thought to feature a 4.5-inch 1-80p display; smaller than the current spate of 5-inch full high-definition screens that were announced at Las Vegas’ CES.

This leak comes from Twitter user @evleaks, in an article on Unwiredview.

That twipster has previously leaked the first image of the HTC M7; the Huawei W1 and the name of the BlackBerry 10 OS handset: BlackBerry Z10.

Eveleak’s latest post notes the P2 is rumoured to feature a quad-core 1.8GHz processor. It is believed to be one of the company’s own design, and not one from Nvidia or Qualcomm.

The other notable specifications are 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and a 3,000mAh battery – while running from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

This will now join the Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 mobile phone due to arrive on O2 in the UK, and the 5-inch 1080p screen Ascend D2.

Omio will be attending Mobile World Congress this year; stay tuned and we’ll bring you more on Huawei’s announcements – from the event.
