HTC Wildfire: Pre-Orders Open Early For Budget Android Phone, Free From £15 Per Month!

After a recent reveal for the Taiwanese manufacturer’s budget blower, HTC Wildfire deals have already appeared on Omio.com!

It seems like the Android-toting Wildfire has arrived a little earlier than expected on a couple of retailers, with a surprisingly affordable price point of a free handset from £15 per month on Vodafone (who haven’t officially announced an intention to range it), and a mid-June release according to Mobiles.co.uk.

The touch-happy handset condenses the form of the HTC Desire and retains the impressive Sense UI, bringing a cute smartphone offering that sports a 3.2” QVGA capacitive multitouch display, Wi-Fi connectivity and an optical trackpad for navigation.

It also runs the latest Android 2.1 build, has the same 600 Mhz processor found in the HTC Hero and has social networking integration, which makes the Wildfire a perfect stylish phone for the tweeting masses.

With such cheap pay monthly deals available, we think that Android phones might have finally reached the entry-level market in earnest with the Wildfire.
