The impressive HTC HD2, the slender smart phone with a huge 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen and super fast processor, is now available in O2 stores from today.

The first HTC handset to debut on O2, the HD2 brings Windows Mobile 6.5 functionality buffed up to a sheen with the Taiwanese manufacturer’s own impressive ‘Sense’ user interface.

Pricing for the HTC HD2 on O2 is very competitive to offerings from Vodafone – the first network to bring the HD2 to shelves – offering a free handset on their higher tier pay monthly deals.

The HD2 manages to pack in a wealth of high-end functionality including a 5MP camera with LED flash, access to thousands of applications from Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace, YouTube intergration and GPS for the all-important navigation on the move.

Those looking for O2 deals online can already do so, with retailers including Mobiles.co.uk offering the HD2 on a £25 per month, 600 minutes and unlimited texts contract, with a £99 initial cost for the handset.
