HTC 8X, 8S and One X+ shipping dates unveiled
Online mobile phone retailers Expansys and Clove have announced the sale dates of the Windows 8 HTC 8X and HTC 8S, along with the Android Jelly Bean HTC One X+.
Expansys has noted the HTC One X+ will be available on the 30th of October, with a cost attached of £494.99, SIM free.
This is a slight delay from the 22nd of October that the reseller had previously quoted.
HTC’s One X+ was announced at the start of this month, and as an update to the flagship quad-core phone from earlier this year.
It has a 4.7-inch 1,280 x 720 Super LCD 2 display, with a quad-core 1.7GHz chipset and 64GB of internal storage, plus an 8-megapixel camera.
The One X+ runs from the latest version of Android, version 4.1 Jelly Bean and with the HTC Sense 4+ overlay to that very platform.
Clove has confirmed that the top-tier Windows Phone 8 HTC 8X will be available with them on the 2nd of November – with the HTC 8S, due on the 15th of that month.
Both handsets were unveiled mid-September, as the company’s first Windows Phone 8 devices – which has its official launch, on Monday.
The 8X costs £399.98 and ships with a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 1,280 x 720 screen, while driven by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.
It comes with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel camera.
HTC’s 8S is a mid-range £224.99 priced device with a 4-inch Super LCD 800 x 480 display, with a dual-core 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. There is also support for microSD cards and it has a 5-megapixel camera.
