LG are going beyond the smartphone with the recently unveiled GW990, which comes across as more of a mini computer than mere communications device.
The LG GW990 sports some seriously meaty specs, looking like a Chocolate BL40 and iPhone mash-up with a 4.8-inch panoramic widescreen touch display, HD video playback, a 5-megapixel camera, split-window user interface, software multitasking capabilities, Wi-Fi and A-GPS.
With that pocket-tearing gorgeous display, impressive feature list and the honour of being the first to have Intel’s Moorestown mobile chip on board (which we covered back in August ’08), the Gw990 looks set to go toe-to-toe with the Nokia N900 as the world’s most overqualified mobile phone.
More deets as we get them!
