Angelina Jolie Has Palm Pré, Voices Her Likes And Dislikes
The second most eagerly awaited handset of 2009 (sorry, but we all want to know if Apple can make it a hat-trick) just got a lot more cool, as Angelina Jolie has been spotted playing with a Palm Pre on the set of new movie, ‘Salt’.
According to LA Gossip Examiner, a production assistant even had the guts to ask Mrs. Brad Pitt what she thought! Instead of being trampled on by a bouncer or ignored by the movie star, Jolie gave him a pretty good mini-review:
“She went on about it for about two minutes. She basically said she likes the software better than the iPhone, she likes the thumboard for texting (although the keys aren’t big enough), and thinks the screen is beautiful but can be too easily scratched.”
Impressive! Apparently the closet gadget freak, Angelina has enough sway to get her hands on the device early…hardly surprising as she is considered the hottest woman in the world. Palm are certainly going the right way about getting the buzz about this phone, between Late Night appearances with Jimmy Fallon and being spotted out with A-listers, the Pre has a fighting chance of becoming a must-have upon its Summer release.

Anyone else getting inspiration for a new ‘Hackers’ film? Similar to how they did it with Fast and Furious where they use the original cast but in a new setting! Instead of PCs and Laptops they do all their shenanigans on their Palm Pres, Blackberries, Sidekicks and iPhones!. (Only the baddie gets to use Win Mob devices)
I can see it now, Jolie is now a housewife with 3 kids and given up her hackerish ways, Johnny Lee is working as IT support for some smalltime IT company when BAM he uncovers some bigtime plot that requires all of his hacker buddys to co-operate together to “hax the planet!”.
Plot twist at the end? It was all masterminded by the son of the baddie in the 1st film! The plot writes itself! You read it here first.
