Nokia E75: The New Communicator!

Not the best kept secret but certainly the most eagerly awaited, the Nokia E75 smartphone was finally announced at a press conference this morning in Barcelona.
Lauded and promoted as the successor to the classic QWERTY + keypad ‘Communicator‘ series of handsets, the new E75 is sure to be Nokia’s flagship business handset for 2009.
Sporting a far sleeker and more appealing metallic-edged design, the E75 promises easier access to both work accounts like Outlook as well as personal ones like GMail and Hotmail, with just your username and password to add an account as opposed to impenetrable stuff like POP numbers and Portal addresses.
The cool feature of work/life started on the E71 is also present for your mails, making sure that you can actually switch off when out of the office. An entirely different home screen and menu means that you are not necessarily taking your work home with you, even though the E75 is always connected!
The E75 is ready to get connected, with wi-fi 802.11 b/g support as well as Bluetooth 2.0 and a micro-USB connector. A 3.2 megapixel camera is the order of the day, with LED flash.
Bolstering the relatively meagre 50MB of memory is a 4GB memory card, and the exciting news is that the E75 will be available as soon as March! Available in three sexy colourways, the Nokia E75 will cost around €375 SIM-free.
