Japanese iPhone site AppBank was able to snag a copy of Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition (known as Biohazard in the East) when it popped up on their App Store briefly a couple of days ago.

It has since been removed for some unknown reason (too scary, perhaps?), but they have put a video up on YouTube to show off some mobile survival horror!

It looks a little sparse, but the core gameplay (shooting, stabbing, running in abject fear from psycho with chainsaw and burlap sack on head) has managed to make the transition unscathed.

The iPhone is certainly leading from way out in front as far as mobile gaming is concerned…
